(Hwy. 5) to exit 336, turn west (right) on the Meadow Lake Road and travel through the community of Logan Lake, watch for the turn off on your right hand side. PARK FACILITIES & ACTIVITIES Commercial Facilities: A resort with cabins, camping sites and boat rentals is on the east side of the Tunkwa Lake. Necessary supplies are available at Logan Lake, including a full service lodge, restaurants and service stations.
Camping - A camping fee of $8 per night per party is the charge to camp at one of the three campsites within the park. Some firewood is provided with site. There's toilet maintenance, garbage pickup and nightly security. Please note Forest Recreation Passes are not valid in this or any other provincial park.. Fishing - Tunkwa Lake and Leighton Lake are known as excellent trout fishing lakes. Tunkwa is one of the richest of the interior lakes with a huge chironomid hatch in spring. Spring and fall offer the best fishing with catches of rainbow trout up to 4 lbs. and better. Leighton is a fly fishers dream, with rainbows up to 4 lbs. but 7 and 8 pounders are not impossible to catch. There are boat launches at both lakes.
